About this client/child:
Harry aged 8 is an energetic character who enjoys swimming, outdoor activities, playing with cars, jumping on a trampoline, and chasing birds and squirrels in the park. Harry has learning disability and autism, his language is developing although he remains behind the average for his age group. Harry can occasionally display behaviour that may challenge. His sister Lilly is 6 and is a very sweet and affectionate little girl.

Overview of role:
We are looking for a level-headed and organised SEN Nanny / Manny who can support Harry at weekends. You will be able to jump right in and set out a daily routine quickly and efficiently; making sure there are lots of creative and fun things for Harry to do. The role requires you to help with the nursery duties and light housework. You will never have sole charge of both children; mum is very hands on.

Who this job would suit:
This job will suit a loving, energetic and playful Manny/ Nanny with good experience with children with autism,  learning disabilities and behaviour that may challenge.  You need to be confident to de-escalate and defuse challenging behaviour. Along with excellent SEN nannying experience, you will have the sensitivity to know when to step up and step away and give the family some privacy.

What’s great about this job:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a fun and experienced Manny/ Nanny to support this lovely family, well-known to Snap. Excellent hourly rate, 6 weeks holidays and opportunity to travel with the family. Extra hours available during school holidays.
