About this client:
Max is an intelligent, active, and sociable 28-year-old. He enjoys Mixed Martial Arts and occasionally goes to watch a match. He is currently studying Economics and Maths at Open University which is his big passion.  Max is a wheelchair user, is ventilated and relies on others with all aspects of personal care and daily living tasks. Max uses AAC eye-tracking technology and 
Eye Gaze to work his laptop. He likes interaction and being around people but is also comfortable on his own. You will be able to judge when to step in and when to give him his privacy.

Overview of role:

As a Live in carer, your role will be working alongside Max’s parents and his support workers to assist him with his daily routine and ensure he is comfortable. The role will involve assistance with all aspects of the day routine; so you’ll be proactive and pitch in as and when needed. £1080.00 gross per week. Shifts are 2 weeks on, and then 2 weeks off. Hours required are: 8.00am to 11.00am, 3.00pm to 4.00pm, 5.30pm to 7.00pm and then 10.00pm to 11.00pm. There is a certain flexibility required but you will have plenty of downtime to pursue your other interests, study or rest.
