About this client: 
Max is an intelligent, active, and sociable 28-year-old. He enjoys Mixed Martial Arts and occasionally goes to watch a match. He is currently studying Economics and Maths at Open University which is his big passion.  Max is a wheelchair user, is ventilated and relies on others with all aspects of personal care and daily living tasks. Max uses AAC eye-tracking technology and Eye Gaze to work his laptop. He likes interaction and being around people but is also comfortable on his own. You will be able to judge when to step in and when to give him his privacy.

Overview of role:
As a waking night carer, your role will be to monitor Max throughout the night to ensure he is safe and comfortable. The role will involve assistance with all aspects of the night routine; you must be confident in manual handling, providing personal care and administering medication. During this time, you'll keep occupied to be alert and of course awake. 2 night shifts per week, overtime and day shifts also available. Nights can be flexible for the right candidate,. Hours:  8.00pm to 8.00am. The hourly rate is £17.00 gross per hour
