Days & Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00 am to 7.00 pm and occasional babysitting and overnight stays if both parents need to travel (babysitting and overnight stays will be agreed in advance); occasional travel with family on holiday

Snap Care are looking for a Nanny / Manny for Harry 11, his twin brother Ralph and older brother Daniel 13. The boys are energetic, bright, and full of life. Harry is very engaging and loves musical theatre, live concerts, books, and films. He has an amazing memory and infectious personality. He enjoys spending time with his brothers who are both very much into sports, especially basketball. Harry has cerebral palsy which impacts his fine and gross motor skills and self-care skills. He is a full-time wheelchair user and requires adult assistance for all his physical needs. He is unable to stand, sit or move independently, with restricted use of his arms and hands. Harry is very articulate with a well-developed vocabulary.
Overview of role:
This is a fabulous full-time role for a confident Nanny / Manny who is accustomed to working in a lively and busy household. Although you’ll assist all the boys, your key focus will be on Harry, ensuring all his needs are met. Harry requires manual handling and assistance with all personal care needs. In the mornings you will assist with his before-school routine and then drop him off at school. During the day you will have some downtime as well as assist the family with light errands, minding the dog, and some household duties including laundry, light cleaning, and cooking for the whole family. After school, you will be involved with Harry’s therapy support (physio and OT programmes), homework and take all three boys to various activities. Harry eats orally but needs support with feeding and cutting up his food. There will also be occasional travel with the family to provide holiday support.

You will have previous special needs experience and be able to manually handle/transfer. Harry has a love for music and films so having similar interests is important too!
