Support Worker / Personal Assistant
Location: Ashford TN23 (Currently in Medway, mileage paid to travel to and from Medway)
Wage: £14.50 Weekdays | £16.50 Weekends | Gross per hour
Driver Essential? Yes
Essential: Experienced PA or Support Worker, confident cook
Days & Hours: 15 - 20 hours per week. Mornings 7.00am – Midday or 7.00am – 5.00pm / 7.00pm

About this client:
Katie is 37 and moving into her new home in the Ashford area in the coming weeks, she is currently living in Medway. Katie has a spinal cord injury and requires assistance from a PA to complete certain tasks. Katie uses both a manual and electric wheelchair and as a result of her injury can struggle with fatigue and pain levels daily. Katie is an active, outgoing, and adventurous lady, she enjoys a range of activities from travelling to crafts, DIY, and wheelchair sports.
Overview of role:
The role of PA is to facilitate Katie and enable her to live life as she wishes, daily as well as providing practical support with some personal care, cooking, household duties, driving, attending activities and sports events, the PA will also assist Katie with life admin, her therapy and rehabilitation programmes. No two days will be the same and will all depend on what Katie has planned. The role is part-time and will involve some weekend morning work, however, you will not be required to work every weekend. We are ideally looking for a PA living local to Ashford and will pay mileage during the weeks of travelling to Medway.
