About this client:
Katie is 37 and moving into her new home in the Ashford area by May/June of this year. Katie has a spinal cord injury and requires assistance completing certain daily tasks. As a result of her injury Katie can experience high levels of pain and fatigue. She uses both a manual and electric wheelchair and is very independent! Katie is passionate about tennis and ensures she practices with her coach weekly. Katie has also won a couple of tennis awards. Katie is incredibly active, outgoing, and adventurous. Travel and gardening are amongst her other passions.
Overview of role:
The role of *female PA is to facilitate Katie; enabling her to live life as she wishes. There will be daily tasks such as some support with personal care, cooking and meal planning support, household duties, and driving. The * female PA will also assist Katie with life admin, providing reassurance and facilitation to broader social situations. No two days will be the same; it really will depend on what Katie has planned. Shifts available: 2-3 days per week, including weekends. However, you will not be required to work every weekend. 7.00am to 7.00pm, days can be flexible for the right candidate. We are ideally looking for a PA living locally to Ashford and will pay mileage during the weeks of travelling to Medway.
