Support Worker
Location: Clapham, SW4
Wage: £2383.00 PCM equivalent to £28,600.00 gross per annum
Essential: Fluent in spoken and written English, current DBS, or willing to obtain a new one (costs covered)
Start Date: September 2021
Days & Hours: Rota 24-hour care, weekdays, and weekends. On average 14 days’ work per 4 weeks.
Client Pets: Yes, new puppy
Accommodation: You will have your own bedroom whilst on shift and access to wifi.

About this client:
Eliza is a professional in her early thirties working full-time and living independently with the assistance of her care team in South West London. Eliza is a wheelchair user and is seeking a full-time Support Worker / PA to provide 1:1 support.  

Overview of role:
As Eliza’s Support Worker / PA you will assist with practical tasks, such as getting dressed, personal/medical care, makeup, hair, etc. and help Eliza keep on top of the housekeeping, shopping, general life admin, and assisting with physio programmes The role is live-in whilst on shift and you will have free time during the day whilst Eliza is working, you will essentially be on-call to assist Eliza during the day when required. Whilst Eliza is socialising or on weekends away, you will not be required to join however, you will still be paid for your time as you will need to be on call. The rota is set, and the Support Worker / PA will work on a 2-week rota basis, based on the hours below:

Shifts pattern week 1
Wednesday 12.00 Midday – Saturday 10.00am
Shift pattern week 2
Thursday 8.00am – Monday 10.00am
