Days & Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am to 7.00pm

About this client/child:
Simon aged 10 is a gentle young man who enjoys audio books, spending time in the garden, playing with Peter Rabbit and his dolls house.  He loves books and magazines; he enjoys taking his dog for a walk and going for bike rides. Simon is afraid of loud noises and environmental noises like hoovers, building works etc. Simon suffers with generalized anxiety and uses now and next PECS boards and social stories/visual timetables to navigate his day. Simon has also complex epilepsy, ASD and requires 1:1 support throughout his daily routine. Simon has two lovely siblings, Archie, 8 and India, 4, this is a busy family home that is always on the go.

Overview of role:
We are seeking a temporary Live in SEN Nanny to support Simon and his family over summer holiday. Your role will
 involve building a caring relationship with Simon, building a program of activities, assisting with personal care, feeding and light housework/nursery duties as needed. And of course, having lots of fun! You will need extensive experience with children with ASD, learning disability and preferably epilepsy, but mum is very happy to provide full training.  £12.00 - £13.00 gross per hour depending on experience.  17th July until 11th September with a week off 16-20th of August. The role could be extended until October for the right candidate.
