About this client:
India (16) is a friendly and fun young lady with a great sense of humour. She enjoys being out and about, eating out in restaurants, bowling, baking, arts and crafts and teddy bears. India has cerebral palsy, learning disability and epilepsy. Her seizures are often triggered by stress and tiredness, and it’s important her days are well structured and all changes well communicated with her. India is mobile around the house but uses a wheelchair for longer trips. She is verbal and can express her needs but can display behaviour that may challenge when she feels her needs aren’t being met or miscommunicated.

Overview of role:
India requires support with most daily tasks, from assistance with feeding to personal care. You will be responsible for supporting India through her personal care routines, assisting with her therapy exercises, accompanying her out and organising fun activities she can engage in. Days/ hours are alternate Sunday: 10.00am to 5.00pm. There is an opportunity to cover weekday shifts, please let us know your availability. £17.00 gross per hour weekends, £15.00 gross per hour weekdays.
