Full-Time Support Worker  
Location: Cheam, Surrey, SM2
Wage: £16.00 Weekdays | £17.00 Weekends Gross per Hour
Driver required? Essential, Automatic car on duty.
Essential: Experience supporting a client with a physical and a cognitive disability, confident with manual handling tasks

Days and Hours:  Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8.00am – 8.00pm
Family/Client Pets: Yes, a small family dog.

About this client/child:
Lee is 32 years old; he is energetic, proactive, and leads a busy life, he has an endless list of hobbies, lives life to the full, and has a great sense of humour. Lee has cerebral palsy which affects his mobility, speech, and communication, he also has cognitive impairment. Lee is a wheelchair user and requires support and assistance to enable him to carry out activities of daily living.

Overview of role:
As mentioned above Lee has an endless list of hobbies which include, Boccia, swimming, gym sessions, horse-riding, wheelchair football, cooking, attending gigs, concerts and although he is teetotal, he enjoys a visit to the pub. We are looking for an experienced, active, and energetic Support Worker to joins Lee’s team and provide the support required to enable him to lead an enriched life and take part in all his activities. Your role as Support Worker also includes supporting Lee with personal care, manual handling, and transfers, planning new activities and exploring new hobbies, meal prep, and life admin duties. Additional hours available on Tuesdays, Saturday and Sunday.

Who this job would suit:
A Support Worker with previous experience in a similar role and shares similar interests to Lee. You must be a confident driver, swimmer, and non-smoker for this role.
