About this client/child:
Tina (4) is a sweet little girl who enjoys cuddles, listening to stories and music, and spending time with her family. Tina sustained brain damage and requires 2:1 support 24/7.  She has Cerebral Palsy, epilepsy, profound visual and hearing impairments and is a wheelchair user. Tina has severe respiratory issues and requires AIRVO ventilation overnight. Her airway and secretion management can be very challenging and unpredictable and requires an experienced nurse’s input.  Tina’s feeds, fluids and medication are administered via PEG.

Overview of role:
We are looking for confident registered nurses with great complex medical needs experience. Tina requires 2:1 assistance at all times and you will work alongside a second team member. Tina requires constant monitoring to ensure her airways remain clear and she is well and comfortable. You will be responsible for administering medication, following recommended therapy techniques and personal care. £37.00 gross per hour weekdays, £40.00 gross per hour weekends. Full and part-time positions are available to support Tina. Daytime shifts available are Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 9.00am to 9.30pm. Waking nights shifts available are Monday to Sunday 9.30pm to 9.30am.

Who this job would suit:
This role would suit an experienced, diligent and kind registered nurse who enjoys working within a family home and providing 1:1 support.  You will be always responsive and attentive to Tina’s changing needs, and work in a way that respects the wishes of the family in relation to her care. Due to Tina’s condition and high risk of Covid 19 you will be required to work exclusively with our client and will not be permitted to hold caring or nursing roles with other clients.

What’s great about this job:
A truly rewarding role, working with this adorable little girl and her loving family. Clinical supervision will be provided by the Clinical Lead. Competitive rate of pay, self-employed position. You will be supported and guided by an experienced Team leader and Case Management company.

Who is recruiting for this role?
We are working in association with a case manager on this vacancy; they will be carrying out all recruitment, including shortlisting and interviewing. By applying for this vacancy, you agree to Snap Care sending your CV and contact details directly to our client for their consideration.
