About this client/child:
Jimmy (5 and 6 months), is a charming and happy boy who loves singing nursery rhymes, playing with his toy piggy, swimming, feeding the ducks in the park and going on trains. Jimmy has cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, epilepsy, and ASC. He is very active and enjoys being in his walker, riding his trike and generally being on his feet. He can stand very well with support. Jimmy has echolalia and limited speech, if motivated he can use some words in functional way but his communication style is not yet established.

Overview of role:
We are looking to find a fun and lively SEN *female Nanny to support Jimmy during the school summer holidays. The role will involve building a caring relationship with Jimmy, planning age-appropriate activities and days out and creating opportunities to implement his physiotherapy in a fun and playful way.  Assisting with personal care, feeding, light housework/nursery duties, as needed. And of course, having lots of fun!  £15.50 to 16.50 gross per hour depending on experience. Monday to Friday up to 20 hours per week, ideally 4- 5 hours per day in the afternoons. Some flexibility on hours and days for the right person. 

Who this job would suit:
This role will suit an experienced and proactive Nanny who has previously supported children with physical and learning disabilities and enjoys working in a family environment. You will be working alongside Jimmy’s mum and you need to be a team player. You will be a fun, enthusiastic person with plenty of energy and a can-do attitude!
