About this client:
Rob is a friendly young man currently living in Wiltshire, who sustained a traumatic brain injury and total loss of vision as the result of a traffic accident. Rob became a father in 2020 to a baby boy, now 20 months old. Rob’s ex-partner (also registered blind), and their son live in South East London, with Rob visiting weekly. We are looking for an experienced Nanny who will assist Rob to provide care for his son whilst he is visiting his son in London and allow him to spend quality time with him on the days when he is in his care.
Overview of role:
Your role will be to assist Rob with all nursery duties, set up a routine for the baby, guide him and support him with all tasks involving his son. You will research and organise appropriate activities and ensure the baby is always safe and content. You will need excellent communication skills to support Rob being a father, in a calm and competent way and provide any guidance needed. Rob has his own support worker provided by Case Management company, and you will be working closely alongside them. Days: Wednesday and Thursday 10.00am to 17.00pm, £20.00 gross per hour.
