About this client:
Anna (4) is a gorgeous and happy little girl with the biggest smile. She loves cuddles, spending time with her parents and younger sister. She just started attending a primary school twice a week, which she really enjoys. Anna sustained a severe brain injury that resulted in cerebral palsy, dystonia and fluctuating tone, sight impairment and microcephaly. She is hoisted for all transfers. Anna is non-verbal, she communicates using facial expression, vocalisation and is just starting to explore using eye pointing.  Her medication, fluids and feeds are administered via PEG. Anna requires 2:1 care at all times.

Overview of role:
In this role you will have the opportunity to work 1:1 with Anna and provide practical, hands-on support including all personal care needs, implementing her therapy programmes, and organising activities and outings. You will be responsible for managing Anna’s newly established team, carry out supervisions, organising training and induction, liaising with her multidisciplinary team, and arranging various appointments. This role offers 36 hours per week, based on a set rota. The hours and days of work are out-of-school hours and include weekdays and weekends.  £20.00 gross per hour weekday, and £22.00 gross per hour weekends.

This position would suit a proactive, energetic and efficient, *female Team leader with excellent communication skills, who likes to be engaged in a range of activities. You will be experienced and confident in supervising care staff as well as having the skills necessary to work in a family setting.
