Night Carer  
Location: Oxted, RH9
Wage: £123.00 Gross per sleeping night | £9.50 sleeping hours | £15.00 Waking hours
Essential: Experience supporting a young client with additional needs (0-6 years), and an experienced Night Carer
Days & Hours: 3 shifts available during the weekday nights. 9.00pm to 8.30am
Accommodation:  Own bedroom/staff room with microwave and fridge.

About this client/child:
Alfie is 2 years old, he is an active, bubbly, and a determined young chap who loves music, storytime, bubble play, and most of all cars! Alfie has cerebral palsy, Movement Disorder, and Development Delay. He has emerging speech and communication and although he is not yet walking, he crawls and is very fast and active! Alfie requires close and constant supervision. He is susceptible to throat Infections, which impacts his overall health and wellbeing. Alfie is at the centre of a loving family; he currently has a SNAP SEN Nanny providing support during the day and is now looking for an experienced Night Carer to join his team.

Overview of role:
Alfie generally sleeps very well during the night, so the Night Carer is expected to sleep, however, he can experience unsettled nights and wakeful periods if he is poorly due to his chest infections, and on occasions will need repositioning. If this is the case the sleeping night will turn into a waking night, and you will be paid for a waking night shift. The Night Carer will have the opportunity to assist with the morning routine and support Alfie to get ready for a busy day ahead.

Who this job would suit:
A calm, caring, and empathetic Night Carer with previous experience caring for a young child with additional needs. The Night Carer will be looking for a permanent role and be able to commit to this role on a long-term basis. We are very happy to employ a Night Carer working or studying part-time.
