About this client/child:
Sam is 13 years old; he loves playing outside, sensory activities, and listening to music. He is very social and engaging, he loves to spend time with his family, peers, and care team. Sam has an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Cortical Blindness, Epilepsy, and Developmental Delay, as a result, he has an established team in place who provide round-the-clock support in his family home and the community. Sam is mobile, however, requires close supervision as can become unsteady due to his vision and epilepsy.

Overview of role:
The role will involve supporting Sam with daily activities, communication skills, independence skills, mobility, personal care, rehabilitation programmes and therapy input. The Carer will ensure all education, leisure, medical and therapeutic needs are met to a high standard. The Carer will complete a night shift and be on hand to assist if Sam requires support throughout the night.
Rates of pay: 
Sleeping night: £8.72 gross per hour.
The weekend day rate is £15.00, gross per hour.

An enthusiastic, compassionate, reliable, flexible, and experienced SEN Carer. A confident driver, with their own car (essential to get to and from the family home) and you must be a non-smoker/vaper.

The Carer will receive regular supervisions, so you will feel well equipped and have all the skills to support Sam. This is a permanent position with contracted hours.
