About this client/child:
Freddie (9) is a charming boy who enjoys sensory activities, being read to, swimming and music. Freddie has an Acquired Brain Injury and requires support with all his needs. Freddie has epilepsy and all food and medication are administered via a PEG tube. Freddie's house is fully adapted to meet his needs and he has a range of therapies, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy and hydrotherapy. Freddie is at the heart of a loving family; Mum, Dad, two big brothers, a new little brother and a friendly dog. This is a busy, active, but fun family home!
Overview of role:
The role will involve providing 1:1 care and support for Freddie during the day. You will assist Freddie with all aspects of his daily tasks, including personal care, feeding, medication and planning stimulating activities. Working hours: Monday, alternate Tuesday and Sundays 8.00am – 8.00pm,. The weekend rate is £16.00 gross per hour, weekdays £14.00 gross per hour
