About this client:
Fiona (3) is a sweet and friendly little girl who loves pretend play with her toys,  going to the park and arts and crafts activities. She has an older brother Chris (7) who she adores. Chris likes to play on his iPad and watch TV, but also likes playing sport and swimming. Both children are at the center of a large and loving family. Their mother, Alina, sustained an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) because of a car accident and has her own care team. Alina’s sister, her husband and twin babies, and the grandmother, also live in the house, so it is a very busy household. The family are originally from Romania, and it would be preferable if you could speak Romanian as some family members cannot speak English.

Overview of role:
Your role will consist of all nanny duties related to both children. You will provide an excellent high standard of care and support within the family environment, liaising with the family members, support team, professionals, and school to ensure a consistent approach. You will pick up both children from school, cook nutritious meals, assist with light household duties, support Chris with his homework and research and organise appropriate activities for both children. Days: Monday and Friday 11.00am to 18.00pm, £16.00 to £20.00 gross per hour depending on experience.

Who this job would suit:
This rewarding position will suit a friendly, hands-on and reliable *female nanny who can be calm, patient and adaptable to the different aspects of this role. You will need previous experience working with children of a similar age group and have a genuine interest in working with children. It is essential that you are a team player and will be comfortable working alongside team and family members in a large and busy household. Both children have a very special bond with their grandmother, and it will take some time to establish trusting relationship with a new Nanny. You’ll be sensitive and patient with gentle approach and understanding of the family’s situation.
