About this child:
Anna is an engaging, energetic, and determined 3-year-old little girl who loves story-time, music, sensory activities, playing games with her older brother, and spending time with Mum and Dad. Anna has Global Development Delay and is dependent on others to meet her care needs. Anna is a wheelchair user and has a walker to support her mobility. She is currently pre-verbal and makes her needs known through nodding and shaking her head for ’Yes’ and ‘No’ and enjoys being given choices to make her own decisions. Anna attends a specialist nursery 3 mornings per week.

Overview of role:
The Saturday Support Worker will enable Anna to participate in activities, access the community, and have a fun-filled weekend. You will be responsible for nursery duties, arranging age-appropriate and stimulating activities, implementing Anna’s therapy in a fun a playful way, and ensuring Anna is receiving the highest level of support and care. Saturdays: 8.00am to 8.00pm, there is the opportunity to cover more shifts during staff holiday or sickness. £16.00 gross per hour weekdays, £18.00 gross per hour weekends
