About this client:
Leo (15) is a fun, active and bright young lad with great sense of humour. Leo is an adrenaline junkie, one of his favourite activities is skiing. He enjoys going for a coffee and playing UNO. He is very sociable and enjoys being around people, going on trains and the underground, listening to music. He also enjoys everything about food, preparing it, eating it and one day he would like to have his own café. Leo has a cerebral palsy, he is a wheelchair user, he is non-verbal, communicating very effectively via an AAC device. Leo requires support with all his physical needs.

Overview of role:
This is a very rewarding role for an enthusiastic, warm, and intuitive Buddy/ Support Worker. Your role will be to support Leo with his afternoon and night routine, providing personal care, enable him to pursue his interests and exploring new activities, it would be fantastic if you’d share some of Leo’s interests. Leo lives in a large and fully-adapted farm house. He has two siblings; it is a fun and busy household. Leo has a small but dedicated team and part of the shifts will be 2:1 supporting Leo alongside other team or family member. Hourly rate: Weekdays £16.00 gross per hour, Weekends 18.00 gross per hour, sleeping night (9.30pm to 7.00am) up to £99.75 gross per night Shifts available: Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday 4.00pm to 9.00am (including sleeping night), Alternate Sunday 9.00am to 9.00pm, please state your availability when applying.
