About this child: 
Josh (7) is an active and smiley young chap who likes to be busy. He enjoys being outside, going on trips and swimming is his favourite activity.  He also enjoys playing on his phone and watch TV. Josh has Cerebral palsy, he is mobile but requires support at all times.

Overview of role:
We require 2 experienced and friendly support workers who can support Josh with each aspect of his care from getting up to going to bed, access to the community and exploring new interests and having fun! You will follow the programs set by a team of therapists to develop his skills, including his communication and behavior. You will be required to commit to 100 +  hours per month based on following shifts: Term time: Monday – Friday 6.30am to 9.30am and 4.00pm to 8.00pm. Saturday and Sunday 8.00am to 8.00pm School holiday: Monday – Friday 8.00am to 8.00pm. £14.00 gross per hour weekdays, £16.00 gross per hour weekends and £28.00 Bank holidays

This role would suit confident, energetic, and positive support worker who has experience working with young children with physical disabilities. You must be flexible and be willing to accompany Josh and his family on holidays.
