About this client/child:
Arthur (17) is a smart, funny and sociable young man who enjoys going to football matches, playing computer games, eating out and going to cinema and concerts. Arthur has quadriplegic cerebral palsy and speech impairment and is dependent on others for all his needs.
Overview of role:
Your role will be to assist Arthur with his daily routine, provide personal care and accompany him on his social outings. There is also an opportunity to accompany Arthur on holidays. You will implement Arthur’s therapy programmes in his daily routine and promote and encourage his independence. £12.00 gross per hour weekdays, £14.00 gross per hour weekends. 100 contracted hours over 4 weeks period. Term time: Monday to Friday 6.45am – 10am and 2.30pm – 10.00pm, Saturday and Sunday hours are flexible, depending on the family’s needs. School holiday: Hours can be flexible, depending on the family's needs
