About this client:
Rob (19), is an active and sporty young man who loves running, swimming, any outdoor activities and horse riding. Rob has a diagnosis of autism and has processing sensory disorder and epilepsy. Rob is non-verbal but can express his likes and dislikes, communicating with gestures and cards. As you get to know him, you will understand him well. Rob requires 2:1 assistance with all aspects of personal care, daily activities, and social skills. 

Overview of role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated candidate to support Rob with his daily routine. You will provide personal care, administer medication, and promote Rob’s independence and functional skills. Rob receives a tailored home-schooling programme, and you will help him to access learning in a stimulating and interesting way. Full training will be provided. Rob is very active and doesn’t have any awareness of danger; you need to be fit and strong and vigilant to ensure Rob’s safety at all times. Shifts available: Monday to Sunday 8:00am to 8.00pm, please state your availability when applying. The hourly rate is £12.00 - £14.00 gross per hour depending on experience.

You will be patient and empathetic, full of energy, and happy to spend time with Rob outside. You will be a team player and be comfortable to work alongside Rob’s family and other team members.
