We are on the search for an experienced *Female Support Worker to join Jed’s team. Jed is aged 18 and is an incredibly happy and cheerful young man with the most infectious giggle. Jed enjoys hydrotherapy, watching TV and having stories read to him. Jed has cerebral palsy and requires adult help for all his needs, including personal care.

This Full Time Support Worker role offers excellent training opportunities with Jed’s full therapy team. You will be working 2:1 most of the time within the client's home so can focus all your skills and attention to help him reach his potential. The role offers a fixed 36-hour contact, two 12-hour shifts (7.00 am to 7.00 pm) and two shorter shifts (3.30 pm to 9.30 pm). During the school holidays this is split into three 12-hour shifts. There is the opportunity to pick up additional hours. The hourly rate offered is £13.00 to £15.00 gross depending on experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Support Worker. Jed needs vibrant, positive and creative people who actively engage with him to bring out the best in him. For this position you must be comfortable supporting a young adult with physical disabilities.
