About this child:
Our lovely client Lily is 10 years old, an engaging, mischievous, and funny young lady who loves imaginary and creative play, baking, watching Horrid Henry, and giggle quiz. Lily has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user, is visually impaired, has epilepsy, and has communication difficulties. Lily is looking for a fun and bubbly Female* Waking Night Carer to join her team to provide 1:1 support at the weekend.

Overview of role:
The Waking Night Carer will support Lily on a 1:1 basis throughout the night. As Lily has epilepsy, she requires close monitoring. The Waking Night Carer will carry out regular observations, documenting and record accurate information, and follow all aspects of her care plan. Lily can wake in the early hours; she may require comfort to settle her back to sleep or support with personal care. The Waking Night Carer will assist with some laundry and light household duties related to Lily. We have shifts available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, however, you will not be expected to work every weekend.

Who this job would suit:
An experienced, proactive, and reliable Waking Night Carer who has previously worked with children with complex care needs. This is a permanent contract, so we are looking to employ Waking Night Carers who can commit on a long-term basis.

What’s great about this job:
A great part-time weekend role offering excellent training and competitive rates of pay. Ongoing support provided by Lily’s team leader and case manager.

Who is recruiting for this role?
We are working in association with a case manager on this vacancy; they will be carrying out all recruitment, including shortlisting and interviewing. By applying for this vacancy, you agree to Snap Care sending your CV and contact details directly to our client for their consideration.
