Weekend SEN Support Worker 
Location: Seaford, East Sussex, BN25
Wage:  £14.50 Gross per Hour 
Essential: Previous experience supporting a client with a physical disability and/or childcare experience. Driver, confident driving an adapted automatic vehicle
Days & Hours: Alternate Weekends, Saturday and Sunday: 12.00 to 8.00 pm
Family Pets: Yes, dog

About this child:
Our lovely client Lily is 10 years old, an engaging, mischievous, and a funny young lady who loves imaginary and creative play, baking, watching Horrid Henry, and giggle quiz. Lily has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user, is visually impaired, has epilepsy, and has communication difficulties. Lily is looking for a fun and bubbly Female* Support Worker to join her team to provide 1:1 support at the weekend.

Overview of role:
This is a really fun role for a Support Worker that enjoys being out and about,  who will explore new interests and hobbies with Lily and really make the most of her weekends and pack them full of activities and fun! You will support Lily to access and participate in activities both at home and out and about in the community. The Support Worker will assist with all aspects of her care plan including supporting with her personal care tasks, personal care, manual handling, communication, feeding, and implementing her therapy programmes under the guidance of her therapists. 

Who this job would suit:
An outgoing, bubbly, energetic, and fun Support Worker who has the availability to make a long-term commitment to Lily. This is an ideal role for an SEN Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant or a University Student looking for additional hours.

The successful Support Worker will have the opportunity to learn new skills and work with experienced therapists and have ongoing supervision from Lily’s case manager.
