About this child:
Our lovely client Lily is 10 years old, an engaging, mischievous, and funny little girl who loves imaginary and creative play, baking, watching Horrid Henry, and giggle quiz. She has cerebral palsy and is a wheelchair user. She has a visual impairment, epilepsy, and communication difficulties. Lily requires an experienced Waking Night Carer to join her care team.
Overview of role:
The Waking Night Carer will support Lily on a 1:1 basis throughout the night. As Lily has epilepsy, she requires close monitoring. The Waking Night Carer will be responsible for carrying out regular observations, documenting and recording accurate information, and following all aspects of her care plan. Lily can wake in the early hours; she may require comfort to settle her back to sleep or support with personal care. The Waking Night Carer will assist with some laundry and light household duties related to Lily.
