Accommodation: Live-out job, but the family has a property when vacationing in Spain, but they will get a villa close by for staff.

About this client/child:
Mark 22, has a passion for cars - he even has his own sports car! He also enjoys going to the gym, photography, socialising and watching films. Mark has cerebral palsy, learning difficulties and epilepsy. He is mobile but is prone to falls so requires constant supervision from those supporting him. Mark can communicate verbally but needs time to be able to speak.

Overview of role:
We are looking for a *Male Support Workers to join Mark’s team and help maintain his safety whilst assisting with personal care, social support, and guidance throughout the day. The role is based in the family setting and will consist of a combination of 1:1 and 2:1 support. During your time together you will be pro-active and get involved in all his interests and explore new ones. There will be the opportunity to accompany Mark on their family holiday to Spain, this can be up to 6 weeks at a time. The role offers between 40 to 50 hours a week. Shifts will be 8 to 10 hours long, usually starting around 9.00 am but a degree of flexibility will be required depending on the activities arranged. The hourly rate offered is £16.00 gross per hour.
