Wage: £25,300.00 + Gross per Annum.  £13.00 weekdays £15.00 weekends Gross per Hour.

About this client:
Our client John is 19 years old, he enjoys watching films, trips to the local shopping mall, playing with his switch toys, arts and crafts and messy play. John lives at home with his Mum and Dad and is supported by a care team almost 24/7. John has Cerebral Palsy, Global Development Delay, a Learning Disability and Epilepsy. John receives his nutrition via a PEG and uses an Eye Gaze and other AAC to support his communication. When John is unable to go out, he enjoys spending time in his sensory garden which has a wheelchair swing.

Overview of role:
John requires an experienced *female Support Worker to join his care team. There are care plans and established routines in place that you will follow, and you will work alongside other team members and the parents as appropriate. Your role is to facilitate John in his daily routine, ensuring he is comfortable and safe. The role will involve hoisting, moving and handling, assisting with personal care, administering medication/PEG feeds, and tending to all John’s needs. He has a fully adapted chill-out room, bedroom, and wet room. John is sensitive to sensory input and requires gentle lighting and constant white noise background. The Support Worker role may include providing 1:1 assistance for John at school once full training has been given. The role is full-time and will require weekend work, however, you will not work every weekend. Rota provided 4 weeks in advance.
