About this client:
Ellie is 17 months old and loves cuddles and playing with her Mum, Dad, twin sister and brother. She enjoys music, messy play, being in her swing and being out for short walks in her buggy. Ellie has Cerebral Palsy and developmental delay. She requires frequent suctioning and nutrition is given via PEG-J.

Overview of role:
We are looking for two experienced Support Workers to support Ellie in all aspects of her daily life including playtime, music and sensory activities. The role includes supporting Ellie with personal care, administering medication and feeding, oxygen administration and suctioning as required. There is an element of flexibility to working hours, but ideally the hours would be 3 night shifts per week 8.30pm to 8.30am 

Who this job would suit:
This role would suit a confident, friendly and mature support worker who enjoys working in a family environment. Ideally, someone who has worked with children in the community or family home and has complex needs experience including oral and nasal pharyngeal suctioning. You will be responsive and attentive at all times to Ellie’s changing needs, and work in a way that respects the wishes of the family in relation to Ellie’s care.
